Singapore Polytechnic DanceSport(SPDS) went down to the Nanyang Technological University(NTU) on the 24 of January 2010 where the 10th Nationals & 3rd Tertiary Championships were held!
Many junior took part in the Grade E event during this Nationals and it was the first Nationals that the juniors had participated in, not forgetting the seniors who fought well in the tough competition of the Grade D and C events.
The Juniors did really well in the Grade E event which resulted in the 1st Prize, 2nd Runner-up & 3rd Runner up being SPDS member. This was seen in multiple events.
The Seniors also did very well in the Grade D and C

SPDS also took part in the Opening Item and Team Match which we managed to clinch the second place!

Overall, the experiences and excitement the competition has given us is a plenty and we look forward to future competitions.

Hello everyone! Here's a short update on what happened during the last few days of 2009!
SPDS & NPDS
Singapore Polytechnic DanceSport(SPDS) was invited by NgeeAnn DanceSport(NPDS) for an Intra-school Dancesport Challenge! All this excitement happened on the 28 of December, 2009.
Members from SPDS participated in grades E,D & C! Overall all the dancers have danced to their best and have put in their good work into it. It was a friendly challenge which allowed many of the juniors from SPDS to experience the feel and excitement in a competition as it was a first for some of them!
Teacher Melvin & Sharon showcased the Samba and Paso Doble. Definitely something worth watching! Eye-catching with their grooves and moves! The Challenge ended in a high note and an honor dance from SPDS's very own Skye Tan And Jennifer Tay for clinching the champion for Grade C! Very well done!
It's Party Time!
After the all the effort put in, NPDS held a post competition CHRISTMAS PARTY!! Buffet was served, games were played and of course not forgetting gift exchange! :D
It was a joyous party where everyone had fun and walked home with nice gifts!
