The recent 8th SGDF Singapore Open DanceSport Championships was held on 1st August 2009, at the Singapore Expo Conference Halls A-F. Our SPDS competitive couples took part in the LATIN GRADE 'C' OPEN EVENT. With the 8th SGDF open being an international competition, SPDS had to compete with couples from around the world. It was an intensive competition but nonetheless our SPDS gave their best and shone on the dance floor. WELL DONE DANCERS!!

Later that night, 25 members of SPDS attended the Night Event and had a delicious 8-course dinner. The Latin DanceSport competitors sizzled up the dance floor during the finals of the Asia Youth Open and the prestiges IDSF Asia-Pacific Events. Attendees were also swapped away by the grace and poise of Standard Dancesport competitors in events like the Grade A (IDSF Open). It was indeed eventful, a day not to be missed.
